Software Developer - Media Player & Embedded

We’re now looking for a Software Developer to join the team working at the core of our technology – developing and evolving the media player that powers our business brands: Grassfish, Dise, and Visual Art. The Role You will contribute to the development and maintenance of the Media Player, which is a hardware-agnostic, JavaScript-based media player application that runs on a wide range of devices and enables media playout, remote control, and monitoring of Digital Signage deployments. You’ll join a strong, cross-functional development team focused on our shared IXM platform and player, internally known as IXM Grid team. You are curious, hands-on, and enjoy building reliable software that works in real-world environments. You enjoy learning and sharing knowledge and thrive when working both independently and as part of a team. You are comfortable contributing across different parts of the development process – from implementation to testing and maintenance. To succeed in this role, we see that you have: 3–5+ years of experience in application or systems-oriented development Programming experience in TypeScript, JavaScript and any frontend framework (we use Svelte) Experience developing for SoC-based platforms such as Samsung Tizen, LG WebOS, Raspberry Pi, BrightSign and Android Experience building or working with applications that run continuously with near zero downtime. Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, local networks, device communication) Familiarity with DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines and GitHub workflows Strong communication skills in English Nice to Have Basic understanding
