Assignment Description We are looking for a Thermal Systems Simulation Engineer to support an automotive customer in the Mälardalen region with expertise in BEV thermal management and cooling system simulations. What You Will Work On Perform 1D simulations and analysis of BEV thermal management systems Support development and optimization of vehicle cooling systems Analyze thermal system performance and energy efficiency Contribute to system-level design and validation activities Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and vehicle development teams Support troubleshooting and optimization of thermal system behavior Evaluate simulation results and provide engineering recommendations Contribute to development of next-generation electric vehicle technologies Support CAE-driven product development and engineering decisions What You Bring Experience from the automotive industry Strong experience with 1D simulation of thermal management systems within BEV environments Knowledge of cooling systems and thermal system behavior for electric vehicles Experience working with CAE-driven engineering and simulation methodologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional engineering teams Technical background within Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related fields Experience supporting vehicle development and system optimization activities Strong communication and collaboration capabilities in technical environments
