Lantmännen Biorefineries is a part of Lantmännen’s Energy Division with production facilities in Kimstad, Lidköping, and Norrköping. With a strong focus on resource efficiency and sustainability, the company refines grain and circular by-products from the food industry. The starch, proteins, and fibers found in our raw materials are processed in our high-tech production facilities into sustainable products. Lantmännen Biorefineries is currently making one of their largest investments ever: building a plant for the pea protein isolate of the future – a key step in growing their ingredients business and meeting the increasing demand for plant-based proteins. In the light of the new pea protein isolate plant – as well as a general ambition to work more focused with strategic business development and growth – Lantmännen Biorefineries is now seeking a Business Development Manager for the business area Food Ingredients. About the role The role as Business Development Manager will have the overall responsibility to work with market insights, market positioning, data analysis and business cases, product development projects from a commercial perspective, customer projects and strategic partners, and other activities focused on strategically growing the Food Ingredients business area. A lot of effort will be put into the new pea protein segment as well as working on a strategic plan and direction for the growth of the business area, focusing on building new partnerships, growing current ones, and assessing future market potential. Apart from being the one who takes the broader perspective and focuses on the long-term strategy – this role will also be highly operative and hands on. Positioned in-between sales and product development, the role will be active in building long-term customer and partner relations as well as contribute to product development based on strategic business goals and customer needs.
