About the Role You will join a high-performing software team in the automotive industry that develops core functionality for electrified vehicles. The focus of the role is motor control software for power electronics, where the challenge is to realize requested electric machine torque in the most optimal way based on current operating conditions. This is a broad role in an embedded environment where you get to work across the full development chain, from architectural structure and concept studies to implementation, verification, documentation, and vehicle testing. You will be part of a fast-paced team building in-house functionality from the ground up, which makes this a great opportunity if you enjoy complex engineering challenges and want real influence on advanced EV software. Job DescriptionYou will develop and refine electric motor control application software for power electronics systems in electrified vehicles. You will contribute to architectural work, concept studies, and the evolution of the software platform. You will work hands-on with functionality development in MATLAB Simulink and lower-level implementation in C where needed for inverter drivers and communication. You will take part in verification activities across unit testing, MIL, SIL, HIL, and rig or dyno testing. You will calibrate and fine-tune functionality in test rigs and vehicles to secure robust performance. You will review requirements, document solutions, and help ensure high quality throughout development.
