About the Role You will join a platform team in a global connected-products environment where IoT and connectivity services power digital experiences for customers and devices. The team owns platform capabilities end to end, from design and development to deployment, operations and long-term maintenance. In this role, you combine hands-on engineering with technical leadership. You help the team make sustainable choices, align squad-level solutions with a broader architecture, and turn shared product and platform needs into pragmatic technical decisions. Job DescriptionYou contribute hands-on to development primarily in TypeScript, Go and Java. You lead technical discussions within the squad and help shape long-term solution design. You mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, knowledge sharing and day-to-day technical support. You work closely with the Service Architect, Product Owner, Squad Lead and engineers to align technical choices with platform and customer needs. You design, build and operate distributed, event-driven microservices, APIs and IoT-related services. You work with AMQP brokers and transport protocols such as AMQP, HTTP and gRPC. You work with data storage technologies including MongoDB, Valkey, SQL databases and AWS RDS. You contribute to Kubernetes-based solutions, preferably in EKS, and use AWS services such as API Gateway, WebSocket APIs, NLB, ALB, ElastiCache and RDS.
