Senior Systems Engineer

You’re curious, open to change, and motivated to grow both yourself and others. • You have solid experience (7+ years) as software or infrastructure engineer • You have strong knowledge of modern engineering practices and tools • You’re experienced in agile and DevOps ways of working • You have deep knowledge of technology, design and architecture concepts • You communicate clearly in English, both written and spoken • You have a deep understanding of coaching and sharing knowledge with others • You have knowledge of the IKEA brand, culture, values and way of working WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Senior Systems Engineer at IKEA, your days will be varied, collaborative and hands-on. You’ll design, build and run digital services that support our customers and co-workers globally. Some of your daily activities will include: • Building, running and improving digital products and services • Designing solutions with automation and self-service in mind • Monitoring and maintaining systems to ensure stability and performance • Leading change activities and supporting your teammates through them • Collaborating with stakeholders across IKEA to shape solutions and roadmaps • Coaching engineers and promoting good engineering practices • Continuously improving how we work through testing, analysis and learning
