Assignment Description We are currently looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join a global product and technology organization within the Policy & Safety domain. What You Will Work On Design, develop, and maintain backend services supporting governance and compliance Build scalable services for policy enforcement and content management workflows Implement logic for multiple jurisdictions and regulatory requirements Expose compliance capabilities and reusable functionality across distributed teams Enable structured, traceable, and auditable decision-making processes Contribute to regulatory compliance and governance initiatives Improve platform scalability, stability, and maintainability Collaborate with technology, policy, and compliance stakeholders Support architecture evolution across backend and platform environments Ensure high standards of quality, reliability, and operational excellence Contribute to long-term platform and service improvements What You Bring Proven experience in backend development Strong experience designing and developing APIs Experience building and maintaining distributed systems Ability to work in technically complex environments with high quality requirements Strong understanding of scalable service architecture principles Experience delivering reliable and maintainable backend solutions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders Structured approach to engineering and delivery Strong communication and teamwork capabilities
