About the assignment: We are looking for a senior Data Scientist consultant to develop analytical models and decision-support tools for electric vehicle asset management, pricing, residual value, lifecycle planning, and portfolio risk. The assignment combines data science, business understanding, and practical engineering. The consultant should be able to take ownership of broad and sometimes ambiguous problems, turn analysis into usable tools or model services, and communicate results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Prior experience from electric vehicles, batteries, leasing, or asset management is valuable, but not required. The most important requirements are strong data science capability, practical implementation skills, and senior judgement. Responsibilities Develop and maintain models for usage, remaining useful life, residual value, pricing, lifecycle forecasting, and portfolio risk Translate operational vehicle and business data into practical recommendations Define, test, and document model assumptions, limitations, and uncertainty Build analytical prototypes, simulations, dashboards, APIs, or other decision-support tools Work with data engineering to ensure reliable data, data quality checks, and trustworthy outputs Productionize models through scheduled jobs, cloud functions, APIs, tests, versioning, and monitoring where relevant Support customer, finance, sales, product, and partner discussions with clear data-driven analysis Create structu
