About the role Flower runs renewable energy assets at the edge of what's technically possible. Our traders make decisions in seconds, our IoT devices stream telemetry from sites across Europe, and our data and AI systems sit in the middle of it all. The platform that enables these workloads has to be fast, reliable, and a joy to build on. That's where you come in. As Staff Platform Engineer you will set the technical direction for how Flower's platform evolves, with a particular focus on DevOps, SRE, and developer experience. You'll work alongside the Head of Platform and a team of platform and data engineers, and your customers are the product squads building Flower's trading and AI systems. Your job is to make them faster, safer, and more productive. This is a hands-on technical leadership role. You'll write code, design systems, mentor engineers, and shape practice across the group, without formal management responsibility
