Location: Stockholm, Sweden ComeOn Group is a data-driven company, and our Database Platform Engineering & Operations team plays a key role in enabling reliable and scalable data across the business. We are looking for a hands-on Database Platform Engineer with strong database development skills and a passion for working with data systems in production. You will work closely with operations, engineering and data teams across the company, supporting MySQL and MongoDB environments while contributing to schema design, query optimization, and performance improvements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both development and operational work. You will be involved in supporting live systems, handling data migrations and integrations, modernizing legacy systems and helping improve how data flows across the organization. A strong willingness to learn, take ownership, and grow in the areas of databases and data engineering is essential. The position offers the opportunity to develop into broader database and data platform responsibilities over time, contributing to the reliability, performance and evolution of our data systems. Responsibilities: Write, optimize and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and database operations. Contribute to database design, schema evolution and modernization of legacy database structures while working closely with developers to improve data models, application queries and overall database performance.
