Job type: Full-time Workplace conditions: Hybrid Location: Gothenburg, Sweden About the Role As a Software Developer at Icomera, you will be part of a team building the systems that help public transport operators manage, monitor, and optimize connected fleets around the world. The role is backend-focused with a strong emphasis on data-driven development, applied machine learning, and algorithmic problem solving. From developing new features and APIs to exploring machine learning applications and intelligent fault detection, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on products used every day by millions of passengers. Key responsibilities Build high-quality, performant, and maintainable backend code for modern web applications and APIs. Contribute to data‑driven development by working with algorithms, analytics, and exploring machine learning use cases. Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver solutions that create real value. Follow established development processes and best practices while continuously developing your technical skills. Requirements M.Sc. in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Solid programming skills, preferably in Python. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an interest in applying mathematics and data-driven approaches to real-world challenges.
